Hundreds Of Batavia Air Passengers Went To The Curator Office

Curator Batavia Air said the airline had warned two weeks before it was declared bankrupt. ' We've had to stop selling tickets remind them, ' said a curator, lawyer Andra Reinhard P. in Turman M. Panggabean law firm, when found due, Tuesday, February 5, 2013 as quoted in tempo.co.

He said, the curators suggest that Batavia Air not to sell any more tickets to avoid the turmoil of prospective passengers. However, it ignores the advice and keep selling tickets until 30 January 2013, when facing a trial at the Court of Commerce in the Central Jakarta District Court.

As is well known, based on the decision of the District Court of Central Jakarta Number 77/Bankrupt/January 30th, 2013 declared bankrupt, Batavia Air and Batavia Air officially ceased operations. As for the authority of Batavia Air will return to the curator.

Logging for prospective passengers will be implemented until March 1, 2013. Prospective passengers logging Batavia Air was conducted by the curator since January 31, 2013.

' Every day no less 200 prospective passengers and travel agents are coming, ' said a staff Curator Turman Panggabean told Tribunnews.com on Tuesday (5/2/2013).

Central Jakarta Commercial Court has appointed four curators. The curator is, Turman Panggabean, Andra Reinhard Hutabarat of the Lawfirm Duma &  Co., a jewel from the Law Firm N Daulay PN Daulay & Partners, Alba Sukma Hadi of Sukma & Partners.
